Fundraising Bike Ride Starts Saturday! Suffering starts later the same day!

Andrew; biker and hero
Andrew Whitelee, the organiser of the Norfolk Bird Race, is combining the 2016 race with the 2017 race by raising money for both the recipients Wader Quest (2016) and the Bird Observatories Council (2017) by doing a marathon bike ride from Aberdeen to Cley in Norfolk!

Starting on the 8th of October Andrew will be leaving Aberdeen and following the route shown in the map at the end of the blog.

Reasons to support this selfless act of self abuse.

This is a magnificent effort and will be far from a gentle ride.

We would urge you to support Andrew, not just because we will benefit from this venture, because this is not a bloke engaging in his hobby and hoping to raise money by doing so, this is a bloke who is prepared to suffer (camping in October!) to support two causes that he feels passionate about.

Make Andrew's sacrifice and pain worthwhile and sponsor his tremendous effort.

So far he has raised £185, he aims for £1,000, so some way to go, please help him reach his goal and match his generosity.

Good luck Andrew, keep safe and thank you for caring.
