Heading out today we came across a huge flock of Northern Lapwings and some European Golden Plovers.
It was hard to count them as they kept moving, we were also pushed for time, but there were in the region of 450 lapwings and exactly 35 plovers, 33 of which were easy to count in flight whilst two more remained on the ground.
