3 days and all is well.

Tying up loose ends, dotting i's and crossing t's. We will be deciding dates and booking Australia and New Zealand later today or maybe tomorrow, all very exciting. When that is done we'll see what time is left for a trip to Gambia in between.

Alan McBride from Australia pointed out to us today  that the Australian birdline website Eremaea Birds  shows that a few Australian Painted Snipe are being located around Sydney New South Wales, I asked him to arrange for a brick to be placed on the foot of a stonking female so it would still be there when we get there. Anyone interested in Australian birding should take a look, it's an interesting site.
