More from Marvellous Milly and the Wing-Threads team.

Since we launched 'Every Kilometre Counts!', we've had a steady stream of donations coming in and with only 12 days left to go of the campaign, we're hoping we can keep turning the tides. Don't forget, every km sponsored for $5 goes in to the draw to win a Wing Threads: Flight to the Tundra prize pack including a set of Meet the Shorebirds fridge magnets, a Stints are Rad! tea towel, a Wing Threads t-shirt and a BirdLife Australia magazine subscription package. Just head to www.chuffed.org/project/wingthreads while there's still time to be in it to win it!

In other big exciting news, my flight instructor Gordon has offered to let me wet hire his microlight once I go solo so that I can keep training!!! I feel this is a huge gesture as it is unprecedented and shows enormous trust in my abilities as a student pilot. Gordon's generosity will allow Wing Threads: Flight to the Tundra to continue to progress forward by allowing me to obtain my passenger and cross country endorsements and continue flying solo until such time that I am able to afford my own plane. I am INCREDIBLY grateful to Gordon and want to extend my sincerest thanks for his generosity.

From the start of this weekend, I'll be spending 10 days at White Gum Farm for flight training and am aiming high for my RAAus recreational pilot certificate by the end of the week I look forward to sharing all the highlights of the upcoming weeks with you Tune in to Facebook for more live videos and updates on my flying progress at www.facebook.com/wingthreads.  New short film from Wing
Last, I would like to say thank you to everyone who has sent me messages of encouragement to keep going and to not give up - it means a lot to have your support.  and I look forward to sharing all the highlights of the upcoming weeks with you!

Ciao for now,
from Milly & the Wing Threads: Flight to the Tundra team
