OK folks, here is our next challenge.
By mid June we want to have raised 1,000AUD to help the BirdLife Australia Hooded Plover project that lost its funding last year.
To that end we have installed a 'Donate' button on the right hand side for anyone who would like to contribute to our appeal.
We already gave them 350AUD when we were there last year and, as you will be able to see on the donation counter at the top of this page, we ony have a little over 200AUD to go. This equates to just £101.00.
Donate in British Pounds Sterling on our new button and your donation will automatically go to the Wader Quest PayPal account with the reference Hooded Plover so the money will be ring-fenced for this appeal. We will then convert that to Australian Dollars (any charges being our donation) and we will be sending it to Australia in Mid June.
Of course, if we receive more than this we will send every penny to Australia. So dig deep and show solidarity with our wader loving friends down under.
You have all proved what wonderful caring and generous wader lovers you are, so please continue to support us in this and future projects as we try to help fund wader conservation around the world.
