Raffle!

There will be a raffle with some interesting prizes, so far we have received tickets for free entry into any WWT centre in the UK and been promised books from Martha Argel Birds of Brazil Pantanal and Cerrado of Central Brazil, David Lindo The Urban Birder  Ruth Miller and Alan Davies The Biggest Twitch team and of course my very own Confessions of a Bird Guide, our stand neighbours The Sound Approach have offered to help us out too. I'm sure we'll also be able to find one or two more generous souls at the site when we get there.

Raffle tickets will be £1 each and the proceeds will be added to the donations.

 Competition!

There will also be a competition called The Caldiris Conundrum sounds horrific doesn't it? But it is not that difficult and we'll be on hand to help out with any questions you may have to help you make up your mind. We don't plan to catch you out or make you look silly, no trick questions, we want you to be in with a chance to win, the only question we won't actually answer is "What is the answer!"

So what do you win? The magnificent double DVD donated by Paul Doherty called Waders (of course!).

Entry will be £1 and the proceeds will be added to the dontions.

New pin designs

We have commissioned two pins to be made especially for the event, Ruddy Turnstone one of the most attractive waders and Diademed Sandpiper-Plover one of the most sought after waders on many a wish list. Collectors will love them.

£1.50 each. The proceeds from the sales of these will be used to support Wader Quest.

We have also commissioned T shirts to be made (if they can deliver on time!) with a Ruddy Turnstone motif of our own design on black.

Book signing!

There will of course be Confessions of a Bird Guide on sale (while stocks last - limited supply), however if we have sold out by the time you get there we will have one sent to you post free after the event (with payment at the BBF). I (Rick) will be there to sign the book if your desire.
