Happy World Wetlands Day

Today is World Wetlands Day a day when we should all be thinking about what we can do to protect these precious natural resources that seems to be so much in the eye of greedy developers the world over.

RSPB Snettisham UK

Wetlands are not just essential to birds but a myriad other living creatures and let's face it, without water we're all done for!

Slimbridge WWT UK

Wader Quest is committed to raising awareness about waders in particular, saving their habitat will be crucial to the well-being of many other animals and birds.

RSPB Titchwell UK

Have a good wetlands day; get out and see some birds if you can. We won't be able to get out ourselves but as if to celebrate this special day we saw our first ever Northern Lapwings over the garden. It seems they knew we couldn't get to them so they came to us!
