A team of ornithologists collected the eggs from remote breeding grounds in Russia and brought them back to Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, for incubation. This particular bird was reared on the Chukotsk peninsula as part of the programme

This is very exciting news and proves that the programme is fulfilling its purpose, there has never been a better time to show your support than now by donating via Wader Quest to this important conservation initiative.
