Exciting news from the Spoonie project

Today the daily mail published news that young spoonies were being released back into the wild in Russia. For a full report:

A team of ornithologists collected the eggs from remote breeding grounds in Russia and brought them back to Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, for incubation. This particular bird was reared on the Chukotsk peninsula as part of the programme
