Forthcoming book title

A new book, to be published next year, highlights just how many of the world's birds are in trouble, along with our beloved Spoonie. We look forward to reading about and seeing photographs and illustrations of these unfortunate creatures, most of which we probably won't get a chance to see for real, but really wish the book had not needed to be written.

 

The World's Rarest Birds aims to raise awareness of the plight of the rarest birds of the world and raise funds to support their conservation through BirdLife International's Preventing Extinctions programme http://www.birdlife.org/extinction/. It will be a lavishly illustrated book featuring almost 900 photos from over 300 photographers and 100 illustrations by the highly acclaimed artist Tomasz Cofta, and will be published by Princeton WILDGuides
